I could join Mikel Obi, Ighalo in China – Odemwingie

Former Super Eagles player, Osaze Odemwingie, has hinted that he could join other Nigerian footballers in Chinese Super League. Odemwingie recently turned down an option to renew a short-term contract with Championship side, Rotherham United and says he has received offers from China in the past. The 35-year-old admitted he snubbed such offers, because he was keen to continue playing at the highest level and also stand a chance of playing in the national team. Odemwingie has now said the Chinese Super League is becoming stronger, because of the calibre of players heading to the Far East and he would consider a move.
